Physical activity, sports and sports service degree at the University of Alicante, Miguel Hernandez University of Elche and the University of Valencia organized a Goalball championship. This is a new project, a coordinated sportive experience among the three already mentioned institutions.
The main goal was to create two teams (masculine and feminine) with students from the different universities and compete on 28th of March in Valencia against the other associated universities in this project.
You may ask, Who could be part of the team? The answer is any university student with or without a sight problem. Each team will be equipped by a maximum of 6 people, 3 players and 3 reserves; and at least, one person must have sight disability.
The less important thing was the result, thought the University of Alicante was the winner of the tournament with an outstanding initiative in stressing the inclusive sport.
